With the win, Blue Island Eisenhower upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cardinals host Shepard (Palos Heights, IL) to play the Astros in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Astros go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Thunderbirds now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Crete-Monee for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7.
