With the win, IC Catholic Prep upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Knights host De La Salle (Chicago, IL) to play the Meteors in a bout on Wednesday, October 18. The Meteors go into the bout with a record of 4-1.

The Grizzlies now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Walther Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, September 8. Payton College Prep will clash with a Broncos squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lisle (Lisle, IL). The Broncos record now stands at 0-1.
