In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Rocky River Pirates soccer squad scored a good 9-1 win over the Fairview Warriors.
The Pirates (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Valley Forge (Parma Heights, OH). The Patriots go into the Great Lakes battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Valley Forge was overwhelmed by Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Warriors (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH). The Bruins go into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record.
