The West Lincoln Rebels soccer team (Lincolnton, NC), was overwhelmed 9-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the visiting Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC)

With the win, Piedmont Community Charter advances its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to play the Stallions in a Metro Eight 1A outing on Thursday, September 7. The Stallions go into the outing with a record of 0-4. Queen's Grant lost 5-0 in their recent non-league outing against Weddington (Matthews, NC)

In their next game, the Rebels play the Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A outing, on Monday, September 11. West Lincoln will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Trojans go into the outing with a 4-2 record after their 1-1 non-league Forest Hills (Marshville, NC).
