The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Academy of the Sacred Heart Cardinals (New Orleans, LA) and the visiting Cabrini Crescents (New Orleans, LA), saw Academy of the Sacred Heart's volleyball squad beat Cabrini by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Academy of the Sacred Heart upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Cardinals travel to McGehee (New Orleans, LA) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, September 8. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 2-0. McGehee won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA)

The Crescents now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Benjamin Franklin for a Division II District 6 bout on Monday, September 11. Cabrini will play a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over St. Amant (St. Amant, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 8-1.
