In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Arcadia Apaches volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Polytechnic Panthers.

The Apaches (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Glendale (Glendale, CA). The Nitros come into the Pacific battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Glendale nudged Burbank (Burbank, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Chadwick Dolphins (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA) in a Prep battle, on Friday, September 8. Polytechnic will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Dolphins come into the battle with a 8-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA).
