Ohio High School Volleyball - Cardinal Mooney over Salem

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Cardinal Mooney Cardinals (Youngstown, OH) and the visiting Salem Quakers (Salem, OH), saw Cardinal Mooney's volleyball squad beat Salem by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Cardinal Mooney upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Boardman (Youngstown, OH) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Boardman lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH)

The Quakers now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Marlington for a Northeastern Buckeye bout on Thursday, September 7. Salem will play a Dukes squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Minerva (Minerva, OH). The Dukes record now stands at 6-0.
