Michigan High School Football - Big Rapids beat Fruitport

September 6, 2024: Fruitport, MI 49415

The Big Rapids Cardinals football squad scored 41 points and limited the host Fruitport Trojans to 14 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Reed City for a Central State - Gold test on Friday, September 13. Big Rapids will meet a Coyotes squad coming off a 65-30 league win over Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI). The Coyotes record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Fruitport drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Comstock Park (Comstock Park, MI) to meet the Panthers in a Ottawa-Kent - Silver test on Friday, September 13. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-2. Comstock Park lost 37-8 in their recent non-league test against Holland Christian (Holland, MI)
