Oklahoma High School Football - Bishop McGuinness prevails Bishop Kelley

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish football squad scored a good 39-25 triumph over the Bishop Kelley Comets.

The Fighting Irish (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX). The Friars come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Bishop Lynch was beaten by Midland Christian (Midland, TX), 20-3, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Comets meet the Springdale Bulldogs (Springdale, AR) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 13. Bishop Kelley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 49-28 non-league win over Van Buren (Van Buren, AR).
