The Pius X Thunderbolts football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Blair Bears to 28 in the Thunderbolts non-league triumph on Friday.

The Thunderbolts now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seward for a non-league test on Friday, September 13. Pius X will meet a Bluejays squad coming off a 35-21 non-league win over Waverly (Waverly, NE). The Bluejays record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Blair drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bears host Gretna (Gretna, NE) to meet the Dragons in a non-league test on Friday, September 13. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 2-0. Gretna won 52-45 in their recent non-league test against Norris (Firth, NE)
