The St. Thomas More Cougars felled the visiting Carencro Bears football team by a score of 21-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 27. St. Thomas More will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 34-33 non-league win over Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS).
The Bears (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA). The Buccaneers go into the 5A District 3 challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Barbe toppled Northwest (Opelousas, LA), 35-32, in a non-league challenge.
