The Casa Grande Cougars walloped the host Nogales Apaches football team by a score of 49-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars play the Paradise Valley Trojans (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 13. Casa Grande will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 40-17 non-league loss to Cienega (Vail, AZ).

The Apaches (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rio Rico (Rio Rico, AZ). The Hawks go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Rio Rico was ripped by Glendale (Glendale, AZ), 24-14, in a non-league challenge.
