Louisiana High School Football - Catholic of Pointe Coupee over Red River

September 6, 2024: New Roads, LA 70760

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets (New Roads, LA) and the visiting Red River Bulldogs (Coushatta, LA), witnessed Catholic of Pointe Coupee's football squad knock off Red River by a tally of 26-6.

The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Crowley (Crowley, LA). The Gent enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Crowley gained a win over Port Barre (Port Barre, LA), 20-6, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs battle the St. Mary Tigers (Natchitoches, LA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 13. Red River will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 39-6 non-league loss to Bunkie (Bunkie, LA).
