In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Seminole Chieftains football squad scored a good 60-49 triumph over the Checotah Wildcats.
The Chieftains (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Tecumseh (Tecumseh, OK). The Savages come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Tecumseh defeated Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK), 48-0, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Dewey Bulldoggers (Dewey, OK) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 13. Checotah will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldoggers come into the match with a 0-2 record after their 49-0 non-league loss to Perkins-Tryon (Perkins, OK).
