The Coventry Comets football team (Akron, OH), fell 12-0 in Friday's non-league game with the host Chippewa Chipps (Doylestown, OH)

In their next game, the Chipps face the Hillsdale Falcons (Jeromesville, OH) in a Wayne County game, on Friday, September 13. Chippewa will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Falcons enter the game with a 3-0 record after their 42-7 non-league win over Loudonville (Loudonville, OH).

The Comets (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH). The Rockets enter the Metro game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Streetsboro ran past Alliance (Alliance, OH), 49-13, in a non-league game.
