Kamiah Kubs (Kamiah, ID) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Council Lumberjacks (Council, ID), 44-16 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Kamiah improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Kubs travel to Logos (Moscow, ID) to play the Knights in a 2A Central Idaho battle on Friday, September 13. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Logos won 60-8 in their recent league battle against Lapwai (Lapwai, ID)

The Lumberjacks now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Notus for a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. Council will play a Pirates team coming off a 60-8 non-league loss to Raft River (Malta, ID). The Pirates record now stands at 0-2.
