The Devine Warhorses were victorious over the visiting Jourdanton Indians/Squaws football team by a score of 34-19 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warhorses face the Natalia Mustangs (Natalia, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 13. Devine will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 30-14 non-league loss to Lytle (Lytle, TX).
The Indians/Squaws (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Pleasanton ran past Jefferson (San Antonio, TX), 21-14, in a non-league challenge.
