The Hudson Tigers football squad scored 38 points and limited the visiting Dowagiac Chieftains to 16 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Ida for a Lenawee County test on Friday, September 13. Hudson will meet a Bluestreaks squad coming off a 21-6 non-league win over Whiteford (Ottawa Lake, MI). The Bluestreaks record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Dowagiac drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Chieftains host Parchment (Parchment, MI) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, September 13. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-0. Parchment won 42-0 in their recent non-league test against Coloma (Coloma, MI)
