In their next game, the Railroaders face the Hill-McCloy Rams (Montrose, MI) in a Mid-Michigan challenge, on Friday, September 13. Durand will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 24-14 league win over Birch Run (Birch Run, MI).

The Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Chesaning (Chesaning, MI). The Indians go into the Mid-Michigan challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Chesaning nipped Lakeville (Otisville, MI), 50-0, in a league challenge.
