The Ellsworth Panthers felled the visiting St. Croix Central Panthers football team by a score of 26-6 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Amery Warriors (Amery, WI) in a Middle Border challenge, on Friday, September 13. Ellsworth will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 49-0 league loss to Baldwin-Woodville (Baldwin, WI).

The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Altoona (Altoona, WI). The Railroaders go into the Middle Border challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Altoona lost by Prescott (Prescott, WI), 34-6, in a league challenge.
