North Carolina High School Football - Mallard Creek falls to Grayson

September 6, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28269

The Grayson Rams felled the host Mallard Creek Mavericks football team by a score of 28-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams play the Grovetown Warriors (Grovetown, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 4 challenge, on Friday, September 20. Grayson will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 20-13 non-league loss to Thomson (Thomson, GA).

The Mavericks (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC). The Lions go into the 3A/4A Queen City challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, West Charlotte toppled Cox Mill (Concord, NC), 41-0, in a non-league challenge.
