Michigan High School Football - Romeo loses to Grosse Pointe South

September 6, 2024: Grosse Pointe, MI 48236

Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Romeo Bulldogs (Romeo, MI), 34-16 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Grosse Pointe South advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Utica (Utica, MI) to encounter the Chieftains in a Macomb Area - White battle on Friday, September 13. The Chieftains go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Utica lost 24-10 in their recent non-league battle against Sterling Heights Stevenson (Sterling Heights, MI)

The Bulldogs now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Utica Eisenhower for a Macomb Area - Red battle on Friday, September 13. Romeo will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 49-0 non-league win over L'Anse Creuse (Harrison Township, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
