New Jersey High School Football - Mainland Regional tops Hammonton

September 6, 2024: Linwood, NJ 08221

The Mainland Regional Mustangs football squad scored 37 points and limited the visiting Hammonton Blue Devils to 6 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Millville for a West Jersey - American test on Friday, September 13. Mainland Regional will meet a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 49-6 non-league win over Atlantic City (Atlantic City, NJ). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Hammonton drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ) to meet the Spartans in a West Jersey - Constitution test on Friday, September 13. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 1-1. Holy Spirit won 39-0 in their recent non-league test against Oakcrest (Mays Landing, NJ)
