Illinois High School Football - Hampshire can't hold off Jacobs

Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL), 28-21 in a league battle.

With the win, Jacobs improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Huntley (Huntley, IL) to play the Red Raiders in a Fox Valley battle on Friday, September 13. The Red Raiders go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Huntley won 44-0 in their recent league battle against McHenry (McHenry, IL)

The Whip-Purs now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Prairie Ridge for a Fox Valley battle on Friday, September 13. Hampshire will play a Wolves team coming off a 49-0 league win over Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 2-0.
