The Sherando Warriors were victorious over the host Jefferson Cougars football team by a score of 42-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 13. Sherando will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Bolts enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 26-23 non-league loss to John Champe (Aldie, VA).
The Cougars (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Spring Valley (Huntington, WV). The Timberwolves enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Spring Valley lost by Hurricane (Hurricane, WV), 63-48, in a league challenge.
