The Mundelein Mustangs felled the host Johnsburg Skyhawks football team by a score of 28-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs play the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL) in a North Suburban challenge, on Friday, September 13. Mundelein will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Zee-Bees go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 33-20 non-league loss to Antioch (Antioch, IL).
The Skyhawks (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL). The Rockets go into the Kishwaukee River challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Richmond-Burton lost by Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL), 22-10, in a non-league challenge.
