Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) supporters were happy Friday as they witnessed their football squad knock off the host Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL), 27-18 in a non-league contest.

The Boilermakers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL). The Titans enter the Three Rivers - Mississippi contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Monmouth-Roseville gained a win over Orion (Orion, IL), 60-26, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Rams battle the Rockridge Rockets (Taylor Ridge, IL) in a Three Rivers - Rock contest, on Friday, September 13. Riverdale will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Rockets enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 27-18 non-league loss to Princeton (Princeton, IL).
