Weskan Coyotes (Weskan, KS) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Kit Carson Wildcats (Kit Carson, CO), 53-8 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Weskan improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Coyotes travel to Rolla (Rolla, KS) to play the Pirates in a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Wildcats now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Genoa-Hugo for a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. Kit Carson will play a Pirates team coming off a 54-0 league loss to Stratton (Stratton, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 0-2.
