Georgia High School Football - Laney prevails Oglethorpe County

In Friday's non-league match, the host Laney Wildcats football squad scored a good 34-14 triumph over the Oglethorpe County Patriots.

The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Greene County (Greensboro, GA). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Greene County was beaten by Morgan County (Madison, GA), 35-13, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Elbert County Blue Devils (Elberton, GA) in a A D1 Region 8 match, on Friday, September 20. Oglethorpe County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
