Georgia High School Football - Lanier Christian Academy holds off St. Francis

The Lanier Christian Academy Lightning (Flowery Branch, GA) football tipped the host St. Francis Knights (Alpharetta, GA), 14-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Lightning now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Georgia Force Christian for a non-league outing on Friday, September 13. Lanier Christian Academy will clash with a Blue Knights squad coming off a 53-12 league win over Cabarrus Stallions (Kannapolis, NC). The Blue Knights record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, St. Francis drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Wesleyan (Norcross, GA) to clash with the Wolves in a A D1 Region 5 outing on Friday, September 20. The Wolves come into the outing with a record of 3-1. Wesleyan won 40-0 in their recent non-league outing against Business Engineering Science Tech (Atlanta, GA)
