Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Winona Wildcats (Winona, TX), 27-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Lone Oak advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Big Sandy won 61-0 in their recent non-league battle against Como-Pickton (Como, TX)

The Wildcats now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Hawkins for a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. Winona will play a Hawks team coming off a 52-0 non-league win over Bowie (Simms, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 2-0.
