In Friday's non-league match, the host Marion Bulldogs football squad scored a decisive 42-6 triumph over the Long Creek .

The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Gonzales (Gonzales, TX). The Apaches come into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Gonzales was routed by Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX), 14-7, in a non-league match.
