In their next game, the Spartans face the Henley Hornets (Klamath Falls, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 13. Marist will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Hornets go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 34-6 non-league win over Lakeview (Lakeview, OR).

The Cheesemakers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against La Grande (La Grande, OR). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, La Grande lost by Vale (Vale, OR), 30-8, in a non-league challenge.
