North Carolina High School Football - Scotland loses to Marlboro County

September 6, 2024: Laurinburg, NC 28352

Marlboro County Bulldogs (Bennettsville, SC) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), 40-28 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Marlboro County advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Conway (Conway, SC) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 13. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 1-3. Conway won 20-16 in their recent non-league outing against Cheraw (Cheraw, SC)

With the defeat, Scotland drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Fighting scots travel to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC) to clash with the Buccaneers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 13. The Buccaneers come into the outing with a record of 1-1. Jack Britt lost 56-12 in their recent non-league outing against East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC)
