The Nevada Cubs football squad scored 20 points and limited the host Roland-Story Norsemen to 14 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cubs now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Prairie City-Monroe for a non-league test on Friday, September 13. Nevada will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 59-7 non-league win over Pella Christian (Pella, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Roland-Story drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Norsemen travel to South Hamilton (Jewell, IA) to meet the Hawks in a non-league test on Friday, September 13. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 0-2. South Hamilton lost 56-6 in their recent non-league test against West Marshall (State Center, IA)
