North Carolina High School Football - R.J. Reynolds defeated by Northwest Guilford

In Friday's non-league game, the Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) football team were victorious over the visiting R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC), by a score of 17-3.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A game, on Friday, September 20. Northwest Guilford will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 3-0 record after their 30-0 non-league win over Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC).

The Demons (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Davie (Mocksville, NC). The War Eagles enter the Central Piedmont 4A game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Davie ran past North Davidson (Lexington, NC), 44-17, in a non-league game.
