Arizona High School Football - Payson tops Page

The Payson Longhorns football squad scored 49 points and limited the visiting Page Sand Devils to 24 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Friday.

The Longhorns now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Coconino for a non-league test on Friday, September 13. Payson will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 12-7 non-league loss to Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Page drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Sand devils host Monument Valley (Kayenta, AZ) to meet the Mustangs in a 3A North test on Friday, September 20. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 1-2. Monument Valley won 20-6 in their recent non-league test against Tuba City (Tuba City, AZ)
