Virginia High School Football - Prince Edward County defeats Parry McCluer

In Friday's non-league match, the host Prince Edward County Eagles football squad scored a good 46-38 victory over the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Governors enter the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Nelson County thwarted Stonewall Jackson (Quicksburg, VA), 41-40, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Fighting Blues confront the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 13. Parry McCluer will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 20-12 non-league win over Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA).
