The Wai'anae Seariders walloped the visiting Pearl City Chargers football team by a score of 44-8 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Seariders face the Moanalua Menehune (Honolulu, HI) in a OIA I challenge, on Friday, September 13. Wai'anae will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Menehune go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 59-0 non-league win over Waiakea (Hilo, HI).

The Chargers (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Nanakuli (Waianae, HI). The Golden Hawks go into the OIA I challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Nanakuli was ripped by 'Aiea ('Aiea, HI), 32-7, in a league challenge.
