The Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO) football were winner over the host Rampart Rams (Colorado Springs, CO), 24-14 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Roosevelt for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 12. Ponderosa will clash with a Roughriders squad coming off a 38-21 non-league win over Holy Family (Broomfield, CO). The Roughriders record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Rampart drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO) to clash with the Thunder in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 14. The Thunder come into the outing with a record of 1-1. Discovery Canyon won 32-14 in their recent non-league outing against Pueblo East (Pueblo, CO)
