The Rockingham County Cougars football team (Wentworth, NC), was crushed 50-7 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Reidsville Rams (Reidsville, NC)

With the win, Reidsville advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Rams host Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, September 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Eastern Alamance lost 45-14 in their recent non-league bout against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

The Cougars now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Southern Guilford for a Mid-State 3A bout on Friday, September 20. Rockingham County will encounter a Storm team coming off a 30-0 non-league loss to Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Storm record now stands at 1-2.
