Alabama High School Football - Shelby County defeats Sipsey Valley

September 6, 2024: Buhl, AL 35446

In Friday's league match, the visiting Shelby County Wildcats football squad scored a good 15-7 victory over the Sipsey Valley Bears.

The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Jemison (Jemison, AL). The Panthers enter the 5A Region 3 match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Jemison was beaten by Selma (Selma, AL), 14-10, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Bears confront the Aliceville Yellowjackets (Aliceville, AL) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 13. Sipsey Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 51-6 league loss to Tuscaloosa Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL).
