Oregon High School Football - Sheldon over Tigard

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR) and the visiting Tigard Tigers (Tigard, OR), witnessed Sheldon's football squad knock off Tigard by a tally of 43-13.

The Irish (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against West Salem (Salem, OR). The Titans enter the 6A Special District 1 contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, West Salem was toppled by Sprague (Salem, OR), 48-35, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Tigers battle the Jesuit Crusaders (Portland, OR) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 13. Tigard will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Crusaders enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 54-19 non-league loss to Tualatin (Tualatin, OR).
