Michigan High School Football - Sparta falls to Wayland

The Wayland Wildcats felled the host Sparta Spartans football team by a score of 21-13 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Thornapple Kellogg Trojans (Middleville, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 13. Wayland will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 28-12 non-league loss to Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI).

The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Northview (Grand Rapids, MI). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Northview toppled Wyoming (Wyoming, MI), 57-6, in a non-league challenge.
