Pennsylvania High School Football - Washington prevails Union Area

In Friday's non-league match, the host Washington Prexies football squad scored a good 35-6 triumph over the Union Area Scotties.

The Prexies (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Waynesburg Central (Waynesburg, PA). The Raiders come into the WPIAL AA Century match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Waynesburg Central defeated California (Coal Center, PA), 28-18, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Scotties meet the Riverside Panthers (Ellwood City, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 13. Union Area will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 40-8 non-league win over Laurel (New Castle, PA).
