South Dakota High School Football - Waverly/South Shore trounces Wilmot

September 6, 2024: Waverly, SD 57263

In Friday's league match, the host Waverly/South Shore Coyotes football squad scored a decisive 48-12 triumph over the Wilmot Wolves.

The Coyotes (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD). The Mustangs come into the Eastern Coteau (9 Man) match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Waubay/Summit was routed by Hamlin (Hayti, SD), 50-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Wolves meet the Castlewood Warriors (Castlewood, SD) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 20. Wilmot will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 0-3 record after their 28-8 non-league loss to Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD).
