The Benet Academy Redwings football squad scored 24 points and limited the visiting Moline Maroons to 12 in the Redwings non-league triumph on Friday.

The Redwings now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host De La Salle for a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. Benet Academy will meet a Meteors squad coming off a 42-0 non-league loss to Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Meteors record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Moline drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Maroons host Quincy (Quincy, IL) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Friday, September 20. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 0-0.
