The Spartans now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Elgin for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. Sycamore will meet a Storm squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Batavia (Batavia, IL). The Storm record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Oswego East drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wolves host Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL) to meet the Bengals in a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. The Bengals come into the test with a record of 0-1. Plainfield East lost 36-14 in their recent non-league test against Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL)
