With the triumph, Middletown advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Middie Bears travel to Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 11. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Panthers now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cornwall Central for a non-league test on Monday, September 23.
