The Rhea County Golden Eagles (Evensville, TN) soccer overwhelmed the host Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN), 4-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Golden Eagles now hold a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Chattanooga Christian for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 7. Rhea County will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Heritage (Maryville, TN). The Chargers record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Alcoa moves to 3-6 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN) to encounter the Cherokees in a AA District 5 challenge on Thursday, September 12. The Cherokees go into the challenge with a record of 5-3.
